Journalism
As a member of the Journalism team, you will be writing articles about a range of global issues, from education to sports and media. As reporters, you will have creative freedom to explore any topic that interests you and express your opinions in your articles!
Creative Writing
As a member of the Creative Writing team, you will have the opportunity to express yourself through creative pieces, such as poetry, journal entries, and short stories. It will be your responsibility to generate ideas for creative literary pieces, effectively communicate your ideas to department heads, write creative literary pieces, and ultimately contribute to the Front Page Initiative’s goal of showcasing the creative literary work of students on an international scale.
Editing
As a member of the Editing team, you will be reviewing and revising a variety of articles, to both creative writing and journalism, before final publication. Not only will you get a chance to improve your editing skills, but you will gain exposure to a multitude of different writing styles and techniques that will force you to think critically and find what words matter!
Social Media
As a member of the Social Media team, you will be contributing creative ideas for interactive promotions, communicating new ideas for partnerships with other councils and overall building a strong community within your department to further achieve goals together.
Graphics Design and Technology
As a member of the Graphics Design and Technology team, you will design visually attractive posts based on assigned articles/creative writings. This includes helping with things like website management, social media aesthetic, and management of consistent promotional material.
Community Service Project
Community Service project members will be working to bring awareness to certain issues around the community and the different ways that people are making reparations. We will be working to boost the message of non-profit organizations and charities to give back to the community. This project will create a platform whose main motive is bringing people together and shedding light on the important issues around the globe.
Environment Project
Flora and Fauna members will be able to conduct research on unconventionally touched upon topics regarding the environment. With other team members, they will be able to practice many useful skills such as communication and leadership whilst making positive change by spreading awareness on major issues.
Mental Health Project
Mental Health project members will be working to convey accurate information about different topics of mental health. One of our main initiatives will be to educate using substantial information to dispel myths and provide factual information. We will work together to create a positive impact to destigmatize, encourage, and more.
